Google Maps is an awesome website and very easy to waste time on. If you’re after some NZ sights, here’s five to get you started…
- Large Koru artwork on farmland north of Auckland
- The Sky Tower in Auckland
- Stonehenge Aotearoa, in Wairarapa
- Mysterious leaning buildings over Bowen Street near the Beehive in Wellington
- Waihopai Spy Base, near Blenheim
And when you get sick of virtual sightseeing on Earth, why not try Google Moon! Even though only a small section is provided, you get amazing detail of the surface and craters when you zoom right in…
