Apple iPod ad concept “borrowed” from James Bond?

After watching Dr. No recently, I was immediately struck by the remarkable similarity between the silhouette dancing sequences in the opening of the movie and the new iPod+iTunes ad featured by Steve Jobs in his keynote last month. Here’s a couple of screnshots for comparison,

From Dr. No (1962)

From the iPod + iTunes ad (2007)

Hmmm… :???: Coincidence? You be the judge.

If you want to see each dancing sequence in it’s original (moving) form, head over to YouTube for the Dr. No opening (skip to ~01:30) and part 2 of Steve Jobs keynote featuring the iPod+iTunes ad (at ~00:30).

Edit: just found out you can add a digg button…
